Pablo d’Ors is a writer and a priest. During 5 years, he was a counselor to the Pontifical Council for Culture by personal appointment of Pope Francis. He is a doctor in Theology and has been a professor of Phenomenology of religion, Mysticism and Revelation in different ecclesiastical universities, as well as Dramaturgy in the Theater Classroom of the Complutense University of Madrid.
His career as a novelist began in 2000 and public recognition came with “Biography of Silence”, an essay on his personal experience with meditation, which was a true editorial phenomenon. His latest novel is titled “Enthusiasm”, and addresses the spiritual initiation of a young man in the 1980s. Currently, he animates the meditators’ network "Friends of the desert" whose purpose is to expand the contemplative dimension of Christian life.
